The Scenario
Greenfield Consulting is a concept build — a fictional boutique strategy firm standing in for a problem we see across professional services: the $79 premium WordPress theme that looks like it. Generic layouts, stock photography, broken heading hierarchy, contrast failures, multi-second loads — and partners who quietly leave the URL out of proposals and pitch decks. For a firm that charges premium rates to advise on operational transformation, a template site undercuts the pitch before the first meeting. The brief for this demonstration: show what a consulting presence looks like when every element on the page is deliberate.
Our Solution
We designed a light, warm, and deliberately minimal site that feels like walking into a well-appointed office. Playfair Display serif headings paired with Inter body text create an editorial quality that no WordPress theme can replicate. The sage green accent and warm neutral palette convey calm expertise. We stripped the page count to six focused pages — Home, Services, About, Insights, Contact, and a featured Case Study — because consulting firms do not need twelve pages of filler. The site is fully static, loads from a CDN, and uses zero client-side JavaScript frameworks. Semantic HTML and proper ARIA labeling push Accessibility to a perfect score.
What This Demonstrates
The demo is live with perfect 100 scores in all four Lighthouse categories and loads in well under a second. It demonstrates the thing most consulting sites get wrong: premium positioning is built from restraint, typography, and speed — not from more sections and bigger sliders. This is a site a managing partner is glad to put in a proposal, and the editorial architecture here is the starting point for what we build for advisory and professional-services firms.
